I was excited to get a free classroom kit from the Hot Wheels Speedometry Forces and Motion Unit. We've had a lot of fun exploring science through the race tracks. We experimented with building tracks that makes the cars go farthest, trying tracks at different angles, and adding items to cars and tracks to increase and decrease friction. This has been a good chance to learn the vocabulary of forces and motion in a hands-on way. Check it out!
