We've spent a few weeks researching the lighthouses of North Carolina. The kids have worked hard to make and present powerpoint presentations showcasing their research and building models of their lighthouses. They have really gotten involved in the learning process and have seemed to enjoy every minute of it!

We are making lighthouses. I am making Cape Hatteras lighthouse. I will make a model of it. It will be made out of old boxes, lights, and other stuff. It will be about 2 feet tall, and about half a foot wide. It will have a white, and black stripe spiral up the side.
They worked hard and had fun, too!
