When students finish their work early, they have a choice to write for the blog. Here's what one student wrote:

Hi everyone! My name is Lola*. School just started. I'm really excited. I really want to learn about dogs a lot this year. We went to the fair. I got to milk a cow! I've never been to that fair before. It was awesome!
